Forge FC is opening Hamilton Stadium for three group stages games in June to host public viewing parties for the FIFA World Cup. The events will feature live broadcasts on the stadium's videoboard and inside the Captain's Lounge, along with family-friendly activities, appearances by Forge FC players and alumni, autograph sessions and giveaways. Bobby Smyrniotis, Forge FC head coach and sporting director, said soccer has a unique ability to bring communities together. The viewing parties coincide with three Canada men's national team matches scheduled for June: June 12 against Bosnia-Herzegovina, June 18 against Qatar, and June 24 against Switzerland. Fans attending the viewing parties will also be able to access a designated section of the pitch for open play and small-sided games. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. All three events are free and open to the public, though Forge FC is asking fans to RSVP. Supporters are encouraged to wear red and white and help create a memorable atmosphere at Hamilton Stadium. The club is proud to open Hamilton Stadium to supporters of all ages and create a space where fans can come together, celebrate the game and cheer on Canada. And with the FIFA World Cup matches being broadcast live, fans will be able to cheer on their favorite team in a fun and exciting environment. But it's not just about the soccer - the viewing parties will also feature a range of activities and entertainment for fans of all ages. So whether you're a die-hard soccer fan or just looking for a fun day out, the Forge FC viewing parties are the perfect place to be. The events will take place on June 12, 18, and 24, with kickoff times at 3 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. ET. Fans can RSVP now to secure their spot at the viewing parties.
